Who we are
The River Artisans Cooperative is a vibrant, member-run shop in the heart of Bellows Falls, Vermont, showcasing the work of over twenty local artists and craftspeople. Founded in 1975 (originally known as the Jelly Bean Tree) our cooperative was born from a desire to create a space where artisans could sell their work outside of a formal gallery setting and within a supportive creative community.
Run by artisans and staffed by artisans, our little shop features a wide variety of handcrafted goods, including quilts, prints, woodworking, jewelry, baskets, cards, candles, knitwear, and so much more. Every piece is made with care by someone who lives and creates right here in our region.
